Ongoing programmes and actions

Both teaching and research benefit from numerous collaboration programmes set up by the schools belonging to ParisTech with other institutions within the European Union.

In the field of teaching, the schools of ParisTech already offer several M.Sc. courses jointly with equivalent European academic institutions. These collaboration programmes also lead to exchanges or invitations of professors, researchers and students, backed up by mobility programmes such as ERASMUS or dedicated partnerships between the schools of ParisTech and partner institutions.

Participation in European networks

ParisTech’s participation in the ATHENS exchange programme and the IDEA LEAGUE university network reinforces the collaboration and exchange capacities of its schools with their European counterparts and provides opportunities for commitment to joint actions. The bilateral partnership agreements reached directly by ParisTech with various academic and technological institutions in EU Member States or Associated States are part of this dynamic.

Participation of ParisTech in projects financed by the European Union

ParisTech is directly involved in collaborative research and education actions set up by the EU, under the aegis of the Research Directorate-General, the Education Directorate-General, or the External Relations Directorate-General.

ParisTech thus coordinates the ICARE European project (China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy), financed by the EU with €10m, and whose goal is the establishment of a Sino-European Teaching Institute for clean and renewable energy (ICARE) in Wuhan, in China.

ParisTech is a partner of the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (Climate KIC) set up on 8 June 2010 in the framework of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
