Open Course Ware
Since 2003, ParisTech Open Course Ware has assembled more than 2000 educational resources that it makes available online.
They correspond to the educational resources for some of the teaching units (duplicated lecture notes, compendiums of exercises, annals, simulators, sessions, course notes, videos, etc.) in all scientific and technical fields covered by the colleges.
These resources, which are made readily available, satisfy several commitments in an “Open Course Ware” charter. Five possible user licenses have been defined for ParisTech resources as part of their access via an Internet portal. Professors/teachers can choose which ones to use:
- Educational resources
- Use – private context
- Use – academic context 1
- Use – academic context 2
- Use – public context 1
- Use – public context 2
For each resource onlined, ParisTech:
- respects the legislation with respect to third party copyrights
- undertakes to define a limited license, after establishing it with the professor/teacher authors
- follows a process and qualification criteria
These educational resources are currently part of the resources used by students in ParisTech colleges.
