Advanced Master
Application
Applicants to Advanced Master programmes must hold either:
- a Master’s level degree: Master, engineering degree accredited by the Commission of Engineer Titles (CTI), degree from a business school accredited to award Masters or equivalent degree accepted by the Conference of Grandes Ecoles,
- a first year Master (M1) plus at least 3 years of professional experience, or
- a foreign degree equivalent to the French degrees mentioned above.
Applicants can also be accepted into Advanced Master programmes based on validated professional experience (VPE).
Admission
Each college has its own process for selecting applicants, which is generally based on an application file and an interview.
ParisTech colleges are especially demanding concerning applicants’ level and their academic and professional potential. Given the colleges’ international outreach, applicants are frequently required to demonstrate proficiency in English, confirmed by their score on the TOEFL or TOEIC, for example.
The review of the application file provides insight into the application (curriculum, after-school activities, centres of interest, career plan, etc.). The interview is held to assess the applicant’s path to date, his career plan and his match with the chosen programme.
