IIT – ParisTech mobility programme
Under the aegis of the Indo-French CEO’s Forum, the IIT-ParisTech Fund for Science & Technology has been created in November 2010 to foster cooperation between Paris Institute of Technology (ParisTech) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Initiated thanks to donations made by INFOSYS and EADS, the IITs-ParisTech Fund is awarding scholarships for candidates from ParisTech and from the participating IITs (Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahati, Roorkee) to complete a 3 to 6 months mobility in the partner country within an academic institution.
Students and PhD candidates interested in spending from 3 to 6 months, starting from May 2012 at any of the participant institutions to achieve a research project in collaboration between an Indian institution and a French one can avail of this opportunity. Successful applicants will then have the opportunity to lead their research in two different environments.
IIT-ParisTech Fund priority areas are Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Fluid and Solid Mechanics, Chemistry and Materials Science.
You have to contact directly the supervisor you would like to work with. You will find a list of fields with laboratories on ParisTech’s website (follow this link)
When contacting a researcher, please enclosed a CV, explain your subject of interest, be specific and show your added value
Completed application forms should be submitted on 27 February 2012 the latest by email at iit-paristech(at)paristech.fr.
A joint committee ParisTech / IIT will evaluate applications. Results will be announced to applicants and to host institutions during the last week of March 2012.
