Doctoral studies
One of ParisTech’s great strengths is the colleges it brings together with different and complementary profiles. This diversity is found in the type of research carried out in the colleges as well as in the partnerships formed with businesses and the profiles of the doctors developed in the colleges. Nevertheless ParisTech colleges implement common and federating educational and research orientations:
- Have ParisTech colleges award a ParisTech PhD based on a Doctoral School recognised for having implemented the quality objectives set out in the Decree of 7 August 2006 regarding doctoral programmes
- Guarantee access to a broad catalogue of high-level scientific programmes, cross-functional programmes and language training
- Encourage PhD students’ international mobility
- Offer preferential support to PhD students to help them develop their career plan and acquire a portfolio of expertise
