India : Co-financed scholarships

ParisTech - French Embassy in India Program

The Co-Financed or Joint scholarships for Indian students are joint ventures of the French Embassy and ParisTech.

These scholarships aim to support meritorious Indian students financially for the duration of their studies in France.

ParisTech and the Embassy of France in India contribute towards the living expenses of selected students through allocation of social security (BCS) scholarships and reduction of tuition fees under the joint scholarship programme.

As a part of social security (BCS) scholarship, the selected students receive the status of French government scholarship holder and benefit such as social security, visa fee exemption, Campus France fee waiver and assistance with finding accommodation.

The Embassy of France in India and ParisTech have put in place a co-financed scholarship scheme to encourage Indian students to pursue their engineering training on the campus of one of the following ParisTech schools:

  • Arts et Métiers Sciences et Technologies
  • Chimie ParisTech – PSL
  • École des Ponts ParisTech
  • Institut d'Optique Graduate School
  • Mines Paris – PSL

As a part of this scheme, the scholars are entitled to following benefits:

The French Embassy awards a BCS (Bourse de Couverture Sociale) scholarship providing Status of French government scholarship holder, social security (mutuelle), assistance in finding affordable accommodation (priority access to CROUS; subject to availability), Visa and Campus France fee waiver.

The interested candidates must follow the admission process and selection procedure for the scholarship.
